The children and parents had a celebratory picnic on Friday 5th May for The King’s Coronation, which was held in the school hall.
The weather didn’t dampen our spirits though!
It was fantastic to see so many families sharing picnic blankets, among the red white and blue bunting and flags. Children wore their hand made crowns and sang ‘Sing For The King’ followed by a rousing applause from the audience.
The cake competition exceeded all expectations (see the newsletter for all the pics) and the effort and time spent by all was obvious, as the School Council has the unenviable task of judging the winners!
